Bank statements, as a spreadsheet.

Drop in the CSV or PDF statements your bank lets you download and get one clean table out: CSV, Excel, or a QuickBooks file. Every row, oldest first, amounts as numbers. The files never leave your browser.

Your statements

Export from your bank or card's website: the CSV (usually under Activity, then Download) or the monthly PDF. Drop several at once and they come out as one table, oldest first. Files are read in this browser and never uploaded.

Free to read. $5 a month for all of it.

The free tier is the whole read on a couple of statements. The subscription lifts the file limit and reads the monthly PDFs.

Questions people ask first

Where do I get my statements?

In your bank or card's website, open Statements or Activity. A CSV download gives the cleanest result and usually covers 12–24 months; the monthly PDF statements work too, read from their printed lines. Scanned PDFs (no text layer) can't be read.

Do you see my statements?

No. Files are read in your browser's memory and the CSV, Excel and QuickBooks files are written there too. Close the tab and it's gone. There is no upload code in this product, and the privacy page lists the only things that ever reach us.

What columns come out?

Date (year-month-day), Description as the bank wrote it, Amount signed (negative is money out), Debit and Credit as separate columns, and the source file. Amounts are numbers in Excel, so sums and pivots work. A running balance isn't carried over: banks print it inconsistently and it is not needed for import.

Will QuickBooks accept the .qbo?

It is a standard OFX 1.02 Web Connect file with the Intuit header QuickBooks looks for: in QuickBooks, Banking → Upload transactions (Online) or File → Utilities → Import → Web Connect (Desktop). Each transaction carries a stable id, so importing the same statement twice does not create duplicates. Xero, Quicken and GnuCash take the OFX version.

My bank's format is unusual. Will it work?

We sniff rather than assume: for a CSV, the date, description, and either a signed Amount or a Debit/Credit pair, with US, day-first or ISO dates; for a PDF, the transaction lines, the section headings that say in or out, and the statement period for the year. The page tells you how each file was read, and a per-file Flip control fixes a wrong guess in one click. If yours isn't read right, email support@avyth.com with the bank's name (never the file) and we'll add it.

What does the subscription add?

The free tier converts one statement at a time to CSV — enough to get a month into a spreadsheet. $5 a month converts any number of statements together and adds Excel, QuickBooks and OFX; Everything unlocks every paid Avyth tool. Sign in on avyth.com and it unlocks here, or paste the key we email once per device.
